As Philippines reopened after the pandemic, traffic became heavier than ever before. To navigate the city more easily, motorcycle taxis emerged as the solution. This artwork depicts a woman preparing to ride a motorcycle taxi outside a convenience store. Typically, commuters designate their pick-up location at a restaurant, convenience store, or other notable landmarks to ensure the rider doesn't get lost. Living in the city, Quatro has often witnessed and experienced these scenes, which inspired him to create this artwork. It reimagines Grant Wood's iconic painting American Gothic (1930).
