Inspired by the works of Francis Bacon, these artworks use exotic shapes and harsh brush strokes to represent the dissonance of human emotion. The artist created these pieces based on the current social issues in Thailand, as these portraits of politicians present the feelings of hate, biased treatment, and injustice in government.

Artist Bio:

ERTH is an artist from Thailand. Their process is cathartic: creating work to express their feelings in the moment and to reflect the society they live in. ERTH's works usually consist of pastel colors with firmly lined patterns. While they are sometimes motivated by situations in Thai society, their motivation mostly comes from horror movies, music, 90s cartoons, and toys.
