Duchamp's Fountain is undeniably one of the most revolutionary and simultaneously absurd art pieces of the 20th century that changed many's perspective on what art is. By putting her own absurd humor into this piece, the artist wanted to push his concept one step further and challenge the notion of whether her reimagination of Duchamp's sculpture is any more or less of an art piece, or simply just a meme. What is art anyway? Who gets to decide? Does it matter at the end of the day? These questions evoke a fundamental understanding of art itself.
