Well Trading by Sippinpurp

In this reinterpretation of Jan van Eyck's Arnolfini Portrait, the artist has chosen to transform the couple (commonly thought to be a wealthy Italian merchant and his wife) into a trader and a mysterious alien-like character, transacting a can of spray paint. Sippinpurp draws from their own experience as a street artist to place these characters in a spray shop, thus highlighting the evolution of traditional oil painting to the modern medium of street art.
